Proceedings of the International Conference organized by the Centre for Hermeneutical Research, Budapest and the Institut für Hermeneutik und Religionsphilosophie, University of Zürich. Pázmány Péter Catholic University Piliscsaba, Hungary 3–5 September 1998. The volume contains 26 lectures of the Conference held in Piliscsaba in 1998. The lectures were delivered in German and in English on biblical, theological, literary or art historical issues. What binds the lectures is the dialogue with, and the interpretation of texts.
